Our client is an industry leader in growth mode. This global company specializes in consulting and IT services across all industries (banking, finance, communications, media, technology, insurance, manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, energy, utilities, life sciences, health care, travel, transit and hospitality), geographies and lines of business.

Role(s):

A marketing & communications professional with strong credentials and hands-on experience across all pillars of corporate marketing to include content development; digital and social media marketing; traditional media and events. The ideal candidate(s) has experience working virtually and across multi-cultural teams in global IT or professional services organizations.

 

Client can hire at two levels (depending on the degree to which candidates meet requirements):

  • Marketing Manager: 6 to 10 years of experience
  • Senior Marketing Manager: 11 to 15 years of experience

 

Role Requirements/Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing. Master’s Degree in Marketing or MBA is preferred
  • Several years of experience in a professional services marketing organization is preferred 
  • Some work experience in a global, multi-national corporation is preferred
  • Exceptional business writing skills (eg. articles; blogs; social media messages; media alerts; emails) is required
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PPT, Excel) is required
  • Proficient with social media platforms and messaging
  • Occasional domestic business travel is required; International travel may be required but not on a regular basis
  • Early morning/evening phone calls are occasionally required
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable communication with a wide and multicultural audience are required
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and public speaking skills are required
  • Skills in translating technical information into digestible content for non-IT information consumer are preferred
  • Experience in tracking key metrics and reporting value to senior management is required
  • Proven track record of cross-group collaboration and ability to influence and impact results at multiple levels of organization is preferred
  • Ability to structure, lead and execute several complex projects across multiple groups is required
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage projects without direct authority, while working across multiple teams is required
  • Budget development & management skills, including ability to track expenses against commitments, set priorities for funding & contribute to developing annual budgets is preferred
  • A Collaborative team player who works well with others and also virtually and independently is required
  • A Flexible attitude & approach to work and a willingness to modify/correct course is required
  • Sensitivity to corporate and work cultures in India is required
  • Knowledge of or experience marketing Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Analytics and Cloud services is a plus
  • A base in any of these large metro cities in the Eastern or Central time zones in the US is preferred- NY, Boston, DC, Chicago, Atlanta or Dallas is preferred 

-Excellent time management and a willingness to work independently from a home location is required

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with business unit and shared services marketing teams to develop, produce and market business services—specifically focusing on message development and asset creation for key service offerings (examples: Intelligent Operations, Automation, Analytics and Cloud) 
  • Plan and manage development, packaging and dissemination of company’s external marketing assets in partnership with external agencies and internal corporate and geographic marketing teams
  • Closely monitor the “services” messaging and social promotions from competition. Generate and integrate best practices into the company’s campaign framework
  • Contribute to the planning, preparation and onsite execution of sponsored events and tradeshows
  • Identify key business leaders and messages in support of content development
  • Deliver high-quality content consistently across traditional, digital and social channels
  • Liaise with other marketing & communications teams & external agencies to co-develop content
  • Manage functional operations, including planning, processes, budgeting & reporting
  • Partner with analytics team to measure content effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines & corporate content policies
