In the spirit of celebrating 20 years of Lynn Hazan & Associates, we are giving away a Resume Review (worth $200) to one lucky candidate.
What you have to do is tell us (lynn@lhazan.com)- Why do you want LH&A to be your consultant? How can you benefit from the Resume Review? Why do you deserve to win? The best answer wins!
Recently, Lynn attended an ANA Business Marketing Chicago event on Harnessing a Start-Up Culture Ethos: What the B2B Marketer Needs to Know at the KPMG Ignition Center. The panel discussion was led by B2B marketing leaders with a variety of viewpoints: from a multinational legacy brand to one of Chicago’s hottest startups, to a founder who sold his start-up to an enterprise business and then stayed to help drive more innovation. It was also a delight to see and salute all the innovation contributions from Chicago.
She continues her speaking engagement with the NSENG. Save the date for April 27, 2020.

3. Workshop: “The What The Hell Approach To Job Search” by Marty Gilbert, NSENG Founder/CEO & Job Search Coach
Many job seekers take a passive approach to their job search that invariably includes several hours a day sitting behind their computer answering online ads which often doesn’t create a lot of positive progress, particularly when you are 1 of 200 respondents to an ad. That’s why an effective job search requires a “what the hell do you have to lose” attitude that creates more interest, more activity and more interviews. This also includes a bold, proactive “marketing” campaign where you are packaging your background, communicating your value, constantly growing your target company list, seeding social networks to create greater awareness for your skills and engaging your audience. This small group workshop will focus on 12 somewhat “unorthodox” actions you can take to stand out from the crowd of numerous qualified candidates by changing your attitude, your mode of job search behavior and implementing a direct marketing approach that gets you noticed. More than 15 NSENG members have applied these principals over the past 2 months and they each attribute their job offers to the “What the Hell Approach”. Date: Monday, January 13, 2020
Time: 9:15 am to 1:00 pm (3hr & 45min workshop)
Venue: Glenview Library (1930 Glenview Rd)
