9-2-15: Give to Get, Get to Give.

Give to Get. Get to Give: One of the exciting developments in my Andersonville neighborhood is the community involvement in creating the Little Free Library. On any given day, you will find one of these mini libraries- the books are free for taking. In return, donations are always accepted.

B. Events/ Conferences

  1. Resiliency 2.0 Summit: Expand Your Capacity to Thrive Under Stress:

Thursday, Sept 17th

At the Summit, you will dig into the neuroscience of mindfulness, stress and stress recovery, guided by Dr. Daniel Friedland, pioneer of evidence-based based medicine. Additionally, John Coyle, Olympian and innovator, will share stories about individuals who have developed life hacks to achieve peak performance despite incredible adversity.

Why attend the Resiliency 2.0 Summit?

According to surveys: about 75% of Americans experience moderate to severe stress on a daily basis. Even worse, more than 90% of leaders have experienced symptoms of burnout, which include feelings of fatigue, disconnection in relationships and reduced significance at work. When leaders suffer, the culture and performance of their organizations and families do too. Stress, fatigue and burnout cause disengagement, lower productivity and lost profits.

You can avoid these problems by using neuroscience-based techniques to effectively navigate stress, to cultivate resiliency, and to flourish within your life and the organizations you serve. Our two experts will show business leaders and professionals how to optimize your mindset to increase engagement and power up with a new edge to achieve peak performance and enhance the bottom line.

I hear the excitement when people say, “I have an interview!” Everything it takes to get to this important point in the job search, all of the work and effort of finding your target, planning, knowing your unique value, networking, writing your resume, finding the ideal positions, sending your resume, following up….and now…. you have an interview!

Preparation takes time. You have to know what kind of research to do about the company and the role, and it takes practice so you are clear about what you want to cover in the interview. Bottom line, you must be mentally and physically ready if you want to do well in the interview.

A strategy is simply your “game plan” of what you’ll cover in the interview. Your game plan includes the best things you could share about yourself on the interview.

Here is what you’ll learn:

  • How to Improve Your Thinking by Re-THINKING!
  • We will Create an Incredibly Effective Interview Strategy
  • Learn to Be a Master of Building Rapport
  • What is the “Best of You” Summary Statement?
  • What Strengths You MUST Share About Yourself?
  • The Most Powerful Questions to Ask in the Interview
