Are you a tech go-to person? Expert user of WordPress? Like to host meetings on Zoom? Are you efficient, effective and eager to make a difference? Want to work for a woman-owned start-up? Available immediately to work as a Virtual Assistant (freelance), then transition to full time, ideally by June or July 2021? Ideal candidate lives in and around the Chicago area or on the East coast/Canada. Only U.S., Canadian citizens or candidates with valid working papers will be considered.
Chicago area start-up company is expanding and growing. This woman-owned business provides resources, training, and support to female C-Suite, senior executives, entrepreneurs and business owners. Co. is devoted to diversity and best-in-class hiring. Candidate will work on daily basis with Founder/CEO to put vision into action: provide tech support and grow function to be combo: Virtual Assistant/Community Manager. Ideal candidate knows WordPress, has samples and can project manage, & verify all the tech daily. Background providing Zoom support is a must-have.
Recent grad or 0-1 year of experience in Liberal Arts/Science, MIS or Digital Marketing. Experience as intern or part-time tech support highly desired. Must have strong project management and customer service skillsets. Candidate is self-starter, can work well independently & produce results. Also has strong social media experience & is able to do online research.
Must have WordPress samples and very thorough understanding of Zoom and Zoom Webinars. Is able to schedule and run monthly online events. Knows how to create Webinars. Understands deadlines and manages all team members to adhere to them. Background with Slack and Monday.com for project management is a value add.

Initially dedicate 15-20 hours/week, ideally, 4 hours/day: approximately 8-10 am and 3-5 pm. Work on special projects on Monday evenings, once/month and Sat am once/month from 8-10 am. Provide backup support for group meetings & events.
Initial work: 50% tech & 50% admin support. Work on podcasts, support speakers, create decks in PowerPoint, troubleshoot Zoom issues, coordinate with other team members and other tasks as required.
Candidate will work on daily basis to coordinate schedules & be personal assistant to CEO- manage calendars, invitations, & operations, including online store. Send out on-boarding packages & help to qualify members.
Coordinate with Marketing, Creative & CEO on projects. Daily tech checks of both websites, test & verify all aspects are running with Zapier, Active Campaign and the sites.
Provide basic website updates in WordPress.
