  • Chicago-based, venture capital-backed startup seeks Virtual Director of Digital Marketing – freelance to start phase 1 of its outreach program

  • Goal is to enroll dentists from March through July 2021 to be dental service providers for patients in the Chicago area

  • New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, and Houston will follow

  • Potential for additional projects in phases 2 and 3 

  • Candidate will be involved in the proposal process to the client 

  • Will work closely with venture capitalist & President of the company

  • Candidate needs to be an experienced digital marketer & be hands-on

  • Ideal candidate has experience in dental or healthcare

  • Client has specific goals in terms of sign-ups and is on deadline

  • Huge opportunity for growth, additional assignments, and/or full-time status 


  • Digital and social media marketing are must-haves 

  • Extended knowledge and understanding of the healthcare and dental industries

  • Strategic and tactical experience in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, and blogs

  • Familiar with the Chicago area 


  • Understand how to reach a professional audience 

  • Understand how to spend optimally and create budgets

  • Be able to showcase stories of successful digital campaigns


  • Create a proposal and budget for client approval 

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaign on time and within budget using SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, and blogs

  • Sign up dentists for the program

  • Meet monthly goals

  • Oversee all digital marketing and freelance work for the company  

  • Report directly to venture capitalist and president 

  • Work closely with PR advisor

  • Target audience of 8,000 dentists
